About Pauliac – Chambre d'Hôtes

Join us for breakfast on the veranda or in the garden

Our Place

Pauliac is close to the towns of Verteillac and Ribérac in the Department of the Dordogne. We offer comfortable accommodation, in a relaxed country house where good food is a priority. Our rooms blend simple traditional farmhouse style with modern sparks of colour and materials. In this setting we organise drawing, painting and writing holidays for groups or individuals. See our site for more information. There's dramatic countryside close by in which to walk, cycle or rest or if you want to go further, the prehistoric caves of the Dordogne and Vezère rivers are only an hour away. Everyone has heard of Bordeaux and St Emilion- and they are just an hour and a half away from us. However, if you want to go nowhere you can laze about our garden. We have truly beautiful views over the valley and an unusual stone pool into which you can leap to cool off. We've plenty of space and love catering for big groups!

About us

We – Jane and John – came to France 30 years ago with our 2 small boys. We loved it so much we have stayed and stayed building and developing our B&B over the years.
Our rooms are simple but I hope original. We are in the countryside so we offer meals which are popular. I find it hard to compromise when it comes to food – so be assured of good quality and tasty food. We like people to feel at home so we would never turf our guests out during the day. We want you to enjoy the garden and the surrounding countryside and, in the evening, if you are hungry, to eat at our large table on the veranda………. Pre/post COVID

However, if you are shy we can make up a table for you on our new deck – cantilevered over the valley. Gardening, painting are other things we do and we are a one-cat-family.
